Going home...

Well, it is about that time. The time I had to tell my guy goodbye and go home. I am leaving for home tomorrow. It is definitely a bittersweet thing. Here is just a quick look back at the time I had with Jeff these past 7 months.

I really love him. :)

Valentines Day 2011 (BEST DAY EVER)

 VALENTINES DAY 2011
I have never mentioned Jeff in my posts yet, but he is super important to me! Jeff and I have been dating since the end of September and in 5 days, it will be 5 months. I cannot even believe it. Time goes by so quickly, it's crazy!!! I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to tell you our story, but I can't..yet. The details will be published later :) Anyways. He is so super great. For Valentines Day, he came in wearing this and holding a bag. I walked up to him and he handed me the bad and said "We're going on an adventure! And these are your clothes." I got back to my room and opened the bag and (above) this is what was in the bag. He picked this out at DI himself. It was so cute. So, we started walking out to the car (Me still having no clue what we were doing) and I was about to get in when he said "Look, what is that?" So I looked and I saw a piece of paper on the windshield wipers. I pulled it out and this is what I found:
Then we walked to the library and on the second floor they have this exhibit type thing where they have some ancient historical papers. We were looking around for the next clue...well I was. He was watching me look and pointing me in the right position. I finally found the next clue (with his help hahah) in a plants' pot. The next clue looked like this:
I knew where this was right away. This was in the Romney building (aka the science building). The same process happened. I tried to look, couldn't find, he pointed me in the right direction and BAM there it was right in front of my face, the next clue:

This of course was the testing center and I found this next clue right outside the building. :)
And this was the easiest one because we met in English class, so we walked over to the Smith building and headed toward the room where we had English last semester. Jeff ran into a problem when he was running around placing these clues. When he was placing these clues on campus, there was a class going on in our old English room, so he had to improvise and use another room. When we walked into this room he said that he would check over by the desks while I checked the front of the room. I told him that there wasn't anything there and he asked if I was sure. I looked again and spotted a big white poster board  that looked like this when it was opened up:

That had to be the sweetest thing that someone has ever done for me. And it wasn't even done after that. We then went to his house in Idaho Falls and made tin foil dinners (adventurers' food)! It was such a great night. I can honestly say that I love him with my whole heart (and more!).

My New Roommates! :)

I have some pretty chill roomies this semester! Their names are Kim, Lizzy, and Nicole. Kim is from Las Vegas, I have to keep an eye on her...haha JUST KIDDING. She's the most outgoing person I know :) Lizzy is from Oklahoma and I am jealous of her blonde hair and her height...she's pretty tall and it's fun! Then there's Nicole! Well, she's from Kansas and SHE'S ENGAGED!! Yeah, it's so awesome!!!!! She's so excited for the wedding. Her and Nathan are getting married in April right after this semester gets out and I am super happy for them. Nathan served in OHIO on his mission, how cool is that? It's awesome!
Anyways, they're so great! We have made brownie batter three times since we have been here this semester. They are so so precious! Ha. And school? Well....it's going, but let's not put a damper on things :)

Interesting Dayy!

I don't think interesting completely describes it. Maybe more along the lines of creepy and frustrating. It all began this morning when I went to the airport with my family for a 10:55 am flight. I got all of my luggage checked and sat down with my parents near the security line. We found a table with some chairs by it and as I began to sit down, a creepy old man with a long beard asked me where I was going. I told him Chicago and he asked me if I was getting off there or connecting to somewhere else. I lied. I said that I was getting off there. He said "Oh, well I am going to Chicago, but I am staying on the plane until California". Great...We were on the same plane and I was worrying about it for the nest hour, basically until everyone on the plane had taken their seats. I had two stops. I stopped in Chicago and Albuquerque. My first flight no one was even sitting next to me except an older lady on the end. The next flight, I sat next to a girl who was headed to SLC as well to go to the BYU in Provo. And the last one (from Albuquerque to SLC)...I moved up a few rows and sat next to two older  ladies. The reason I moved up at that point was because we were running 30 min. late and I had a shuttle to catch that was leaving at 4:30...I landed at 4:20. I booked it out of the plane thanks to some kind people, who let me go in front of them and then I ran to find the shuttle and let them know that I was running late. Well, that didn't matter because if you aren't there, they leave. Well, luckily my mom booked me on the 6pm one just in case I could not make the 4:30, which I could not...and now, I am STUCK at the airport for another 30 min. awaiting a 5 hour bus ride to Idaho Falls...:(

Hey Hair!

So...This is my sister. Her hair is basically the craziest hair I have ever seen in my entire life! It's so ridiculous!! She is so so cute!!! Her hair when she wakes up in the morning is just insane! My mom literally drenches it with water so that she can style her hair. My parents are now using moose (mouse?) on her hair, it's THAT bad. haha It is so funny though, I think that it is next to impossible to go to the store without a lady walking by staring and wowing her head full of hair. It's way funny. When we go to the store, I play a game with myself. I count the number of people I see eyeing her up or people who stop and say something and you really would be surprised about how many people actually DO stop and say something. If you want a really exciting trip to the grocery store...COME WITH US!

Merry Christmas!!!

Christmas was so much fun! We woke up a little before 8 in the morning ( I didn't care for that too much haha), but we had a great time. Ian is obsessed with trains and snoopy so he got trains and snoopy. Sydney, well since she's only a year, it's obviously difficult to buy for, but she got things like dolls, dolls, and more dolls. After all, what little girl doesn't like dolls? I sure did :) But now, it's clothes and chocolate for me :) The perfect combination...how I am going to get it all back to Idaho is beyond my comprehension! The second picture was our attempt at a Christmas morning picture with Santa (our neighbor from across the street). After bummin; around the house till one-ish, we went to grandma's house to exchange gifts there and then to Uncle Ed's catering center to prepare ourselves for dinner :) We had chicken, roast beef, etc...YUM! And I just forgot until now that Christmas Eve I had a fever and could not get to sleep, so I didn't even feel that well on Christmas which was a bummer, but talk about good timing. It was nice to be home and sick then at school and sick because I don't know about you, but I have found that it's hard to concentrate with a severely runny nose :(
